OUR CREATIVE PROCESS

At Rebel Biscuit Society, we pour our hearts and creativity into hand-decorating each biscuit. Every stroke of icing and sprinkle is carefully placed to ensure that each biscuit is unique. We love adding a mischievous touch to some of our designs, creating biscuits that are meant for the young at heart and the playful spirits!

The trans community needs us now more than ever!

The Supreme Court has ruled that the definition of a "woman" now excludes trans people.

TRANS WOMEN ARE WOMEN
TRANS MEN ARE MEN

Women do not need "protecting" from trans women they need protecting from CIS MEN. I have never felt threatened by a trans woman but I have felt threatened by men.

Forcing trans women into men's toilets is putting them at risk.

SPEAK UP. USE YOUR VOICE. CHALLENGE TRANSPHOBIA WHEN YOU SEE/HEAR IT.

I will always stand unapologetically with trans people 🏳️‍⚧️

Favourite Things turned into biscuits! I love creating these kindsnof sets!

This set was for a 16th birthday (in case you hadn't figured that out...) for someone who loves music, plays piano and netball, likes purple and yellow and absolutely LOVES her tortoise! 🐢

I asked for a photo of the tortoise and decided to paint it onto a cookie using food colouring... Swipe through for a cookie close up and the actual photo of the tortoise!

Last of the Christmas cookies (I think!) a couple of little personalised sets for the TA's in Jensen's class 🎅🏻❤️

We moved house this year so I thought I'd make a few of the neighbours some Christmas cookies based on their front doors! 😅

We also made a special set of cookies for Jensen's teacher, her favourite colour is pink, can you tell!?

Absolutely loved making these for all of Jensen's classmates. I was lucky enough to be able to take them into the classroom to hand out today too as I was this week's "secret reader" which was nice! I was oddly nervous about reading a book to a room full of 4-5 year olds but they were all very lovely! (I'm sure handing out cookies helped too! 🤣)

🏳️‍⚧️ TRANSGENDER AWARENESS WEEK 🏳️‍⚧️

The 13th - 19th November is Transgender Awareness Week, leading up to Transgender Day of Remembrance on the 20th.

This year I've made some cookies to take into work where our Pride Employee Resource Group will be hosting a drop in session for people to come and find out more about the transgender community, with a special focus on pronouns and why it's important for us all to include our pronouns in things like our email signatures.

Including your pronouns in your email signature not only shows support and acceptance of the transgender and non-binary community, it also helps to normalise pronouns and can encourage other people to do the same.

It's just one simple thing you can do to hopefully make the workplace (and the world as a whole!) a more accepting and inclusive place for all genders!

I love snow globes but I actually don't own any (apart from cookie versions!)

I'd love to maybe start a collection of them to add to each year

I have to admit, after not making or decorating cookies since 2022, I was a little nervous that I'd have forgotten how to do it 😬 but it all came FLOODING back! (See what I did there!?)

A bit more practice and a bit of recipe testing and I might think about opening for orders 🫣 I'm a bit nervous tbh!

I have a confession to make, my last 2 reels weren't real cookies! 😱🤭

I thought I'd give the @cookieclay_ a go while I'm practicing and getting back into the swing of things to save on time/waste.

What a game changer when it comes to samples and content creation! I love it! And it smells good enough to eat!

You roll it out, cut out your shapes and decorate as normal. Once the icing is dry, simply peel it off, wipe off excess, add a sprinkle of cornflour, pop it back in the pouch and reseal!
